On September 28, 2007 Estonian Road Administration and consortium Ramboll Eesti AS and Ramboll Finland OY contracted for E263 Tallinn-Tartu-Luhamaa road Kose-Võõbu and Võõbu-Mäo road sections preliminary design. Contract value is 35,9 miljon estonian kroon, whereof 80,45% is financed by European Union Cohesion Fund. Project timeframe is 19 months.
Project aim is to compose preliminary design for I class road on Kose-Võõbu (km 40,0..68,0) and Võõbu-Mäo (km 68,0..85,0) road sections according to Estonian Governments prescription for road corridor from March 9, 1999 No 313-k. Preliminary design shall further regulate road alignment, analyses and proposes optimal locations and solutions for road cross-section, junctions, etc. Project includes Environmental Impact Assessment and traffic arrangement plans for existing road.
